Dr. İrem Yengel was born on August 22, 1980, in Adana, Turkey. She completed her primary and secondary education in Adana and started her medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. After graduating in 2004, she ranked among the top 10 nationwide in the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) and began her residency in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital.
To enhance her professional competence in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Yengel chose Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital, where she performed thousands of surgeries and deliveries over five years. In 2009, after completing her specialization, she started her mandatory service at Adana Maternity Hospital, gaining valuable experience through various cases.
After completing her mandatory service, she joined Istanbul Medipol University Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, where she contributed intensively to both academic and medical practices. Dr. Yengel has conducted numerous scientific studies and experiments both domestically and internationally, specializing particularly in pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth, genital aesthetics, gynecology, high-risk pregnancies, infertility, and IVF treatments. She has successfully completed the Ministry of Health’s Assisted Reproductive Techniques Certification Programs.
In 2018, she worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, IVF, and Infertility at Istanbul Memorial Şişli Hospital. The same year, she was awarded a faculty position at Medipol University, overseeing the obstetrics and gynecology internship programs for medical students. She has numerous articles and experimental studies published in various national and international scientific journals.
After serving at Medipol University between 2017 and 2022, Dr. Yengel opened her private clinic in Istanbul, where she continues to provide care for her patients. Her personal interests include painting, cinema, and traveling, and she enjoys watching basketball with her children. She is the mother of two children, named Rüzgar and Nehir.
